This book provides information and insight into the experiences and issues of transgender children, teens, and adults.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A look at the statistics, as well as the experiences of hundreds of transgender people, provides insights into the root causes of teen suicide, adult drug addiction, and alcoholism as coping mechanisms for not transitioning. The study revealed a shocking finding: 25% of the respondents had attempted suicide at some point in their lives. However, another group conducted a more extensive and comprehensive study, which showed that the original research was incorrect. It is written for people who identify as cisgender (not transgender) and is heavily researched, as evidenced by the provided bibliography. The book is written in a format that is easy for all ages to read and understand. It covers important topics such as the consequences of not transitioning and the process of transitioning for individuals of various ages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
